brushmyhair
This draft would totally piss off Aaron Rodgers What would Bill O'Brien Do, Draft 3 CB's Edited May 2, 2020 by brushmyhair
Ozzy
I assume you did not make all of these picks and just did it off the damn rankings previously given to you? Or you just simulated it all for what? A lot of guys who are not placed correctly I find. Overrated: Trey Lance - I do not get the Lance hype as a potential RS SOPH QB, not sure he has the arm talent to make that kind of move. Kyle Trask - This high, he is good but not that damn good. Great game manager but is pretty limited in terms of his upside. Emil Ekiyor- a RS SOPH OG that has not played much, would be a surprise to see him in the draft next year. Tammarrion Terry - Not sure he drops that far with his big time athletic ability, speed, size and just general big play potential he can bring. Kayden Lyles - Not a huge fan of his but will have to greatly improve. Jonathan Cooper - will be pretty surprised if he is a 2nd round pick, he is good but not sure he is that good, will see. James Skaliski- his lack of coverage skills could hurt him big time, has a great motor and is a smart kid but if Ben Boulware a few years back on Clemson cannot be successful in the NFL how can Skaliski be? Austin Deculus - was the worst OL on that team last year, would have to greatly improve to be drafted this high. Brendan Radley-Hiles - the guy gets beat constantly, and if Motley cannot be drafted and Motley is way better than he is, he should have little chance unless he greatly improves. Jay Tufele - he is good but not this damn good, ok player but not sure he has 1st round potential at all. Paulson Adebo - has the potential but how he was awful last season in a lot of games, see if he can improve off that terrible season he had last year. Hamilcar Rashed Jr. - maybe he has 1st round potential as a pass rusher but really will have to show it this year Justyn Ross - he is going to have to improve a lot, was disappointed with his last few games last season after being so amazing as a FR the year before in big games, needs to get stronger that is for sure. Rachad Wildgoose Tariq Bracy Tariq Castro-Fields Damone Clark Thomas Booker LaBryan Ray Underrated: A lot of these guys you have as 7th round picks? Um no, a few are potential 1st round picks arguably and have a ton of upside. Penei Sewell - it is almost a literal fact he will be a top 3 pick in next years draft, if not top 2 lock. The guy is a super star and drop to the 6th pick, no. Jalen Twyman - another who should be a lock 1st rounder with another solid year. Joseph Ossai - should be a 1st round lock Josh Myers - best center in the nation arguably. Patrick Jones - he has first round potential all the way Thomas Graham - 1st round potential and at worst 2nd round with his versatility and toughness not to mention his ball skills. Tutu Atwell - that kind of speed will not drop that far in the draft Asante Samuel Jr - should be one of the best corners in the nation next year. Talanoa Hufanaga Kellen Mond Terrace Marshall Jr. Noah Taylor Lamont Wade Paddy Fisher Marquez Stevenson
candyman93
Props for trying. However, the first 2 picks make no sense. Cleveland just gave Austin Hooper a fat contract, drafted Harrison Bryant, and still have David Njoku. They also signed Jack Conklin and just drafted an OT at 10 this year. If I manually did this, Najee Harris would be going before Travis Etienne. As A Matter of fact, I'll make that edit. And why do you also think I titled it WAY TOO EARLY https://www.profootballnetwork.com/mockdraft/ Mess around with it if you like Edited May 2, 2020 by brushmyhair

None of this is me. I made picks for the Texans, I closed my eyes for each pick with Houston, because that's what Bill O'Brien would do. How does Lawrence to the Jags and Rosseau to Cincy make no sense?

Usually people who post a 7 round mock draft have some idea of the players they are picking for each team but I guess you simulated it all outside of the Texans pick? Either way I still stand by what I said, and if that mock draft simulated those players to be picked there, it is absolutely bull****. Thanks mock draft site for putting out crazy inaccurate information. Does look cool with all the team logos and everything though.

Does stink if the focus was the Texans that they once again have no 1st round pick and not even a 2nd round pick either in 2021. This past draft was solid though, Blacklock was a steal and he is a beast when healthy, has great power for a big man and could really hold down the middle and provide a much needed push. And Greenard is one of the better pass rushing OLBs so he should do well in that 3/4. I like Heck also at OT who is a massive dude and a good athlete. And Reid has some playmaking potential at corner and good versatility and Coulter has decent speed but kind of surprised WR was not addressed earlier. Losing Hopkins is massive though but I assume he was not going to resign there anyway. Cooks helps replace some of what he brought and if Fuller can stay healthy but surprised another WR was not added to that draft class. They got four good TEs so that will help the lack of top end receiver talent.

Danish49ers
I am pretty sure the 49ers will be looking at CBs early and often in 2021. And round 4 won't cut it... I really like Caleb Farley going forward, and it seems a bit unlikely they'll address the D-line with 3 of their picks and not use a single pick on O-line.
