Tetsujin
What a nice surprise. From 9.5M to 3M. Could be 4M with incentives.
FinSting
Surprised me, but then again the Fins prolly told him they were going to put the 'cut' in 'pay cut' if he didn't restructure. Edited May 5, 2020 by FinSting
Emerica
I think this is a win-win for both parties. If he didn't take the paycut he probably would've been cut and I don't think he would've gotten much interest on the open market given the fact he really hasn't seen the field much in the past two seasons. Make or break season for him.
Tetsujin
Maybe if he shows out, he becomes mid-season trade bait.

Make or break season for him. Fully agreed. He was never going to play for the Fins at that $9.5 million figure, and he probably couldn't get a $3 million deal on the open market, given how late in the offseason it is and how injured he has been the past 2 years.
