Good for Deshone tho. Now he can go on unemployment and get a stout $600 extra per week than he would’ve gotten prepandemic

My guess is Deshone was informed it was likely he would be cut in training camp so he leveraged the cut now in order to maximize total Covid financial benefits. I'm glad to see someone else is actually willing to take a step back and connect the dots.

I think DeShone Kizer's problem is that he came out of college too early.

He should have finished his time at Notre Dame before he entered the draft.

His head was being inflated too early and just started on the wrong foot.

Well, Pittsburgh could use him.  Ben's going to need a better backup than what he has.

I don't know who is backing up Ben but he has to be better than Kizer.  :P

We don't have too many options out there.

Kizer would be a good 1 year sign because he's definitely better than both of the backup QBs we have right now.

Good lord.  Who are your backups?   A lot of guys weren't thrilled we drafted Love but he's gotta be better than Tim Boyle who we had last year.
