indifference
He will stink. Hands are suspect and his catch rate in college was unimpressive. Route running ... below average
Aussie9er
I think his going to be a stud. Love his potential his got speed (just doesn't harness it well in games), Size, Jump and with the Steelers drafting him and their record developing receivers is more likely him being good than being a bust. He’s been a good gunner since his freshman year. He’ll have immediate impact on special teams. I question these little blurbs because maybe he watched the tape of two or three games and made his determination. What if they were early in the season? What if he was injured? Well that blurb was pre-draft on Latimer, so should be taken with a heap of salt. I noted that Latimer and Claypool are similar on testing (mockdraftable) - but probably not with on-field play then

BroncoBruin
He should be wearing a number in the 80s. The 11 just looks wrong.

Ward4HOF
I'll be honest...I don't know if Chris Simms is usually on point with his evals, or if he's more like Gruden and his QB evals, where he loves everyone, but if he's right, looks as if Claypool has some potential... Cutler06
OP comparing him to Calvin Johnson is a bit wishful IMO. Feel the VJ comparison is spot on.
Bassomatic
Ben Roethlisberger will do like he's done before and make a star out of him.

Having franchise quarterbacks can even make average wr's look good.

At least for a year or two, Ben is getting older and close to retirement.

With a CB mugging him on every single rep. They’re not calling PI on a 1 on 1 practice rep.
massraider
Whenever discussing someone's pros and cons, and the pros start with: Combine Team X is really good at scouting this position! I'm out.
