No one is trading much for him, especially injured.

Some one questioned whether he quit on the team and coach.  I understand the thought process, but just don't see him quitting on the team like that.  Now I can absolutely see his body finally quitting on him and he is frustrated beyond belief.  Things that once came so naturally and easy for him are now a huge struggle.

I think this is it. Everyone has that point, and I think this is it for AJ

Agreed. Even with his good game yesterday, the long pass from JB, the old AJ would have high pointed and brought in no problem. He just lazily tried catching it at his hip and the defender knocked it away. It’s tough to watch now knowing how good he was.

Yup everything yesterday was slants for the most part. Which for the life of me I don’t know why we didn’t do that vs Baltimore’s blitz but whatever. I’ll give him credit for that 4th down catch, but you’re right the old AJ would have attacked that ball. I think he’s scared to leave his feet

He's either anxious about leaving his feet, or the ankle is still less than 100% and he can't get push off on it.

Prime AJ, yeah. But he’s been doing that passive, wait-for-the-ball routine for years now. It drives me nuts. Worst case scenario you need to draw the PI there.

Just high pointing the ball instead of letting it fall is a good 4 foot difference and likely secures the ball before the defender can break it up.

I get that.  If it's a matter of choice, then it's a problem.
