To say this thread is a bit premature is the understatement of 2020, and that is saying something. Did we learn nothing from the 2020 draft. We have no clue what the Packers brass is thinking. More importantly, we have no idea what are true needs are going to be in 11 month.

I'm going to put these right here just so we can see how far off these projections are in 11 months.

This website literally exists because of draftniks that wanted to talk draft year round lol. The GDT and posters hating our HOF QB is relatively new. The first few years of the site were more draft based than team based.

Welcome to Football’s FUTURE, my guy. Premature is my middle name. Don’t click the threads you think are stupid, as if they redirect you to PFT.

Didn't say it was stupid. I said it was premature, but to each their own.

The preliminary TDN rankings indicate a decent TE class that's fairly top-heavy. IDL looks pretty good so we should have no excuse not to draft someone there this year either. ILB's looking pretty decent as well.

Every time the one time I was premature she called me stupid!!

With the 32nd pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft....The Green Bay Packers select TE Jake Ferguson Wisconsin Badgers.

Decided to do a little work on the 2021 class on our favorite position. Here's a list for the 2021 season that hopefully happens. If you're interested pop some names into Youtube or remember the teams to put on for a lazy fall Saturday afternoon.

Packerraymond's WR 2021 Watchlist (please feel free to request another position, I'm bored)

Day 1/2 Buzz:

The X/Z's:

Tamorrion Terry 6'4 203 FSU: Almost 1200 yards and 20 YPC for an inept team without a QB. Terry is a true outside guy with a vertical skillset.

Rashod Batemon 6'2 210 Minnesota: Physcial, advanced route runner with above average athletic ability. 1200+ yards, 20 YPC and 10+ TDs as a soph in the big 10

TJ Vasher 6'6 210 Texas Tech: Needs a big season in an offense that loves to throw the ball, H/W/S guy right now

Damonte Coxie 6'3 197 Memphis: Could use some bulk, but back to back 1000 yard seasons, looking to make it 3 in a row

Sage Surratt 6'3 215 Wake Forest: NFL body, nice catch radius, brother is an NFL prospect as well.

The Do It Alls:

Jamarr Chase 6'1 200 LSU: The cream of the crop. The true top 5 stud this years class lacked.

DeVonta Smith 6'1 175 Alabama: You'd like to see him at 190, but he's as good as Jeudy

Tylan Wallace 6'0 180 OK State: Almost 1500 yards in 2018, torn ACL after another strong JR campaign.

Jaylen Waddle 5'10 185 Alabama: Lightning fast and fun, probably the only fun WR who will be on the Packers board.

Chris Olave 6'1 185 Ohio State: Real nice route runner, no Victor, Mack or Hill this year, has a chance to blow up w/ Fields.

Justyn Ross 6'4 205 Clemson: No more Higgins and he has the #1 QB in the NCAA. Ross will probably be a 1st round. Long limbed, athletic, good RAC.

Amon-Ra St. Brown 6'1 195 USC: The best of the St. Brown brothers.

Small Fun Guys The Packers Won't Draft:

Rondale Moore 5'9 180 Purdue: This guy is a stud, think Percy Harvin as a complete WR

Tutu Atwell 5'9 155 Louisville: Tavon Austin skillset, aka @Packerraymond will fall in love with him and then he'll fail in the NFL.

Elijah Moore 5'9 185 Ole Miss: Another productive SEC slot type, needs a QB that can throw though.

Amari Rodgers 5'10 210 Clemson: Really a RB/WR hybrid type. Fun player, will be used more sans Higgins

Breakout/Unheralded guys:

Charleston Rambo 6'1 180 Oklahoma: Sweet *** name, Hollywood Brown, Ceedee Lamb, Rambo is probably next.

Dyami Brown/Dazz Newsome North Carolina: Does anyone know UNC football has two 1k receivers with a soph QB that went 38/7 as a true frosh? Fun offense.

Frank Darby 6'1 200 ASU: ASU has quietly become a round 1 WR school. Darby is the big dog on campus with Aiyuk & Harry gone

Tyquan Thornton 6'3 175 Baylor: Baylor has a good young QB and Mims is gone. Thornton really needs some muscle on that frame but I like the skillset

Whop Philyor 5'11 175 Indiana: Quietly had a 1k season in the Big 10. Looks like a lean Reagor. Needs the weight room.

Others to watch:

Ronnie Bell Michigan

Tarik Black Texas

Brennan Eagles Texas

Tyler Vaughns USC

JD Spielman Nebraska

Can confirm Waddle is fun.  Packers drafted him 30th overall.  They had 30th and 32nd overall after trading Aaron Jones and using that high second round pick to move up.

32nd overall was something Lars-Woodbey, a big safety.  Who is that?  Is he real?  Madden is unreliable in that aspect.

As a Sooner fan, not sure Rambo is going to get the production (and publicity).  Probably end up a late Day 2, early Day 3 prospect.  Jadon Haselwood and Theo Wease are the two names to look out for.  Haselwood in particular.

Agreed. It seemed as if Rambo was WR3 behind Haselwood and Lamb last year.

Rondale Moore is my guy

Rondale Moore should be everyone's guy. That kid is absurd for his size. Between he and Chase, they both would've gone off the board before any of the WRs in this draft.

143/1645/14 in 17 games in college. It's a shame he got hurt last year.
