WindyCity
Complicated legacy with the Bears. But by all accounts a great person. Best wishes to the family.
soulman
They say it's not PC to speak ill of the dead so I'll refrain. All I will say is that I have never, nor will I ever be a supporter of Michael McCaskey's leadership of the Bears organization. He inherited the team of the decade and was instrumental in it's crumbling into dust and a decade that followed that was one of the very worst in Bears history. Great person or not he was a horrible "football man" which is why GSH never wanted him in a position to run the team yet Ginny defied that request and gave him the job anyway. In my book that will always be an unpardonable sin.

LOL My grandpa loved the Bears but hated George Halas so let's just say that McCaskey was to me what Halas was to my grandpa and call it a day.
