ragevsuall17 Posted February 18, 2020 Share Posted February 18, 2020 It's bad for the Jags, but it's not that bad. They have wiggle room. Cutting Dareus gives them 20M. They probably don't cut Campbell, but thats another 15M there. Sprinkle in 11M from Bouye. Those 3 moves puts them at 43M. They also have another handful of players that gets them 4+M each (ie Lee gets them 5.25M, Jake Ryan [who?] gets them 5.5M, Geoff Swain [again, who?!] saves them 4M). They end up losing quite a bit on their Dline with Campbell and Dareus, but they get close to 60M with those moves. I dont know their roster too much, but there may be money elsewhere. The defense that was once thought so highly of is completely gone, but theyre able to speed up their rebuild (if that's the case, Norwell could be gone too).
