Not trying to shoot the messenger. It's just so bad. At least VJ looked like he realized it on the sidelines. You gotta be able to trust your D to hold there, and at worst you don't see them giving up enough big plays that they wouldn't give up any points (almost a given with this wind). On the plus side, we're clearly winning in most facets of the game except for the 1 big play, and pass protection. We do need to get the ball to DT and Sanders more. That's a mismatch we're not exploiting enough so far, just can't give Siemian enough time to get it to our best guys. And we need to giving help to Watson vs. Mack & co. By all rights most times that's a pick. The bigger issue is the pass protection as you said though. Edwards is KILLING us. Yeah, the solution seems simple - Barbre. Maybe he's no better...but he can't be any worse than Garcia. Our coaches' attachment to him is just mind-boggling. Irvin has beaten Bolles several times too, but Edwards coming in free inside gives even less time for Siemian to make any play than from the outside - Siemian can't step up with inside pressure like he could with an outside rush.
