Oof. Completely dismantle a team and still get ranked below them.

Tough crowd.

Like I said, my (totally subjective) preseason rankings make up the majority of the weighting. Every week things will shift more and more toward results, and less away from subjectivity. I obviously realize my rankings are flawed in their bias, but yours are flawed in their small sample sizes.. that's just the impossibility of doing this sort of thing after week 1. It's kind of cool to have 2 completely separate approaches though. You are trying to show which teams have statistically performed the best, while I am trying to show who I believe are the most likely to make the playoffs/accumulate the highest win total. It's sort of apples and oranges.

For the Knights, it will take continued success to move up the list (same with the Sonics). And FWIW the Direwolves completely dismantled the Sharks and are ranked behind them also.. I was really hoping I would jump to #1

@El Ramster will say this every week until it's week 9 and he's 0-8 and trading everyone.

I found this pretty funny. Zeitler as his current offensive MVP.

Egypt Starfalls

Offensive MVP: Kevin Zeitler (OG)
Defensive MVP: Joshua Allen (DE)

Maybe if you pretend it’s something that I’ve never claimed it was, sure.

I just don’t see how a team (albeit with a new owner) coming off a 12-4 season and conference championship appearance that just dismantled a team coming off a 8-8 season would be ranked lower than the latter.

every week I shift from preseason rankings to more real results

right now its 2/16 results and 14/16 preseason, and will shift by that much every week

I didn't rank the Knight particularly highly in their passing offense. Dak is in the top half of QBs, but barely. And their WRs are definitely bottom half. Plus I didn't have their defense particularly high either. Mammoths on the other hand I have edging them out in offense, and a considerably better defense.

If the Knights continue to play well they will pass the Mammoths. Period.

I just don't expect they will. Sorry fam
