I see these guys today who put up video game stats and I saw Reggie Bush. Reggie was 10x the athlete any of these guys are. He didnt get the coaching or scheming he needed. Yes he had Payton but even Payton didn't know how to use him the first few years. He was a trail blazer in a way. Guys like Alvin Kamara are a poor mans Reggie Bush in an NFL thats more geared towards utilizing skills rather than trying to pigeon hole every running back into being Sean Alexander. Reggie Bush was a better athlete than most of the running backs he was playing alongside of too. That didn’t seem to help him all that much. He played in the same league Lesean McCoy and Jamaal Charles played in, didn’t seem to bother them either. And they certainly weren’t pigeonholed into being Shaun Alexander. Reggie was an incredible athlete that turned out to be only a decent, serviceable NFL player. Same as plenty of guys in the 90s, plenty of guys in the 2000s, and plenty of guys in the 2010s. SkippyX
Maybe someone else already posted this? 58 regular season TDs and 6 playoff TDs is a bust now? 11 year career Super Bowl Champion 9 touches for 63 yards in that Super Bowl Awesome reverse move run in the 2006 playoff win over the Eagles after Sheldon Brown knocked him into 2008. 9088 total yards from scrimmage? 4.3 yards per carry? 477 catches out of the backfield? He even helped the Lions win a playoff game... oh the refs picked up the flag on Dallas, never mind that one. How many busts have 4 NFL seasons with 1250+ yards from scrimmage and 7+ TDs? He scored 38 TDs for the Saints in 5 years. They won 4 playoff games including a Super Bowl with him contributing Now if you want to say he was not Barry Sanders or Tony Dorsett and he got injured a bunch playing tackle football in the National Football League then feel free. SkippyX
He also could have easily topped 10k total yards and 60 TDs if not for the Rams and their awful stadium. Don't ask me about it, ask the jury that gave him 12.5 million dollars of the Rams money.
