Not related, but Rich Gannon does the GB preseason games for some reason. Have 0 idea why. Gus Johnson is incredible. He has a way with the intensity he broadcasts with to make any game interesting to watch even if you dont care about the teams playing. Joel Klatt/Gus Johnson broadcasting college games is probably my fav. team regardless of college/pro Edited June 8, 2020 by AkronsWitness
y*so*blu
Early to mid-2000s for me. It was a great era for quarterbacking and I rarely saw a broadcast I didn't like. The pregame crews had more energy to them. Even Troy Aikman was a good announcer once upon a time (won an Emmy in '04). Decades from now, I'll probably be looking back on the Nantz/Romo era with fondness as well. Tony really is a great sportscaster.
Duluther
Mid 90’s - 2003 The rule changes for the passing game since then have killed a lot of it for me. And I just much preferred many of the players back then to today. Both in personality and skill-set.
