Wyld Stallyns
Saw this post on Instagram but don’t know how to properly post it here other than the link https://www.instagram.com/p/CSXeAZpFGEA/?utm_medium=copy_link [Crazy, but true: Bruce Matthews didn’t make the Pro Bowl until he was 27 years old. Yet no player in NFL history has more appearances than him (14)]

MightyMouse07
Priest Homes 3 year highs on the Chiefs at a much older age than Charles: 1555/8 | 62/614/2 1615/21 | 70/682/3 1420/27| 74/690/0 Charles best 3 year stretch (minus one injury year) 1467/5 | 45/468/3 1509/5 | 35/236/1 1287/12 | 70/693/7 Holmes stats absolutely dominate Charles in so many ways. Feels like many have just forgot how much of a tank Holmes was.

Charles was regularly put into horrible situations on bad teams and produced. im a chiefs fan I know exactly how good Priest Holmes was, he was my favorite Chief for a long time. Charles was the best RB in Chiefs history. Stats dont prove every argument

SkippyX
So now Jamaal Charles is better than Emmitt Smith because Smith had a great line. Archie Manning is the best, he just had bad players. Eli >>> Peyton because Peyton had better teams. 🤣 It’s fun when you ignore stats or record. Any Chiefs fan will tell you Charles was better than Holmes. Any remotely meaningful analytics or metric will tell you the same. This is just you creating a strawman and laughing at it.
SkippyX
Holmes was incredibly dominant. Charles had a high ypc that is all It would be like saying Aaron Jones > Derrick Henry.

Both of those backs (Jones/Henry) have had good OLs and a solid to great passing to take pressure off of them. Just like Holmes did. Out of the 4 players you mentioned, only one of them had neither and still produced (Charles).

Willie Roaf(HOF)-Brian Waters(2-time AP) - Casey Weigmann(Pro-Bowler-Ironman)- Will Shields(HOF), John Tait(Good RT for a long time) Its one of the best lines of all time, completely dominant. With Vermeil(HOF) calling plays, Green tossing the rock to Gonzalez and Dante Hall returning kicks it was a fun time.
