It doesn’t even necessarily have to be him, but someone with size on the outside. Jarvis is a full time slot, you have your #1 option in him, and either Higgins or DPJ is that other outside guy. The OL wasn’t shorter then. It’s just wild how much people think an inch or two matters (this will be quoted by nude I’m sure). If he were one inch taller no one would question his height. The issue boils down to footwork/feeling pocket ghosts and reading defenses. When he’s able to consistently throw hot routes and identify pressures, I’m going all in on Baker. It’s a non issue. Im not sure what it is. Maybe his release, height, footwork or something but he 100% misses high nearly everytime he misses. There is something there but Im not sure what it is. I cant remember the last time I saw him bury a ball at the WRs feet coming across the middle.
