Dizzy brought up a really good point about Zeitler.

He probably doesn’t get traded if we don’t have Corbett at the time. Corbett being a bust really screwed us.

Them working Corbett at every F'ing position on the line really screwed him. Transitioning from college OT to NFL OG is tough enough. Transitioning to NFL C, OG, and OT on both sides of the line?? Just plain damn stupid.

Terrible disservice to a rookie player.

Teams that lack talent do that.

Patriots can do the exact same thing and get away with it because they have talent and coaching to cover up for “ mistakes.”

Also, we signed Jacob Phillips. It’s just Delpit left now.

Just to further expand on what the Patriots do. It’s a great idea to get as many draft picks as possible. Seattle does pretty much the same thing New England does. They’re just different in their strengths and weaknesses of drafting and developing guys.

However, do you know what you call a front office that churns the bottom of the roster constantly with late round picks and doesn’t have a franchise QB and franchise HC?

Fired.

The RG wasn’t the reason our offense or team fell on their face tho. Baker couldn’t trust Robinson to protect his blindside at all. Bitonio had a down year compared to his standards. Hubbard played like garbage and we didn’t find a decent warm body at RG until Wyatt played. He wasn’t a stud by any means, just better than what was there.

the RG or LG is never a lynchpin to an offensive line

I wish Jamal Adams wasn’t a picky ******.

After we move Njoku, we could easily afford Adams.

Not with an extension he wants like 18 per year.

We cant keep them all. Adam's is great, but I'd rather keep Garrett and our guys.

If we got rid of Njoku. He clears up 6 mil by himself.

When Sheldon Richardson gets cut, he will free up 11 million.

There’s your money to pay Adams.

Cut Richardson after this year. That’ll open up about 11M. 7M more won’t be crippling.

Part of the problem is people keep assuming Baker is going to deserve 30+ million.

There’s a better chance Case Keenum is our starter than Baker getting paid that much.

Never will baker if he puts up another stinker

If Baker puts up another stinker, that’s a whole new QB room. Keenum isn’t going to be given a shot to be the street and he shouldn’t be thought of as a guy like that

Maybe not but he alreadly has proven, under Stefanski, that he at least can be a sturdy bridge to our next proclaimed franchise QB.

Where was this sturdy bridge for Haskins?

its not like he was running Stef’s offense in ‘17, that was all Pat Shurmur.

solid back and would be fine with him starting a week or 2 because of an injury but if the plan at any point is for him to be a starter for the season. Just flush that down the season.

also the way this roster is built. Baker bombs than the browns need to make a big move to get a legit QB because this team can’t wait to develop with a QB. Roster was built because baker looked so good his rookie year. Just have to hope that it was more Freddie then baker

If we really want Adams, I say trade for him, regardless of his request. Get him in the building and integrate him in with all the other LSU guys, have some success with any luck, he'll want to stay. Nobody wants to come to Cleveland but that often changes once they're here.
