candyman93
Chiefs just gave Chris Jones a fat extension. About 21 mil per year and Myles is looking at 25 mil per year. Can we stop pretending salary cap space matters? Look at Kansas City and Philly. Edited July 14, 2020 by candyman93

It's true.

Gonna show my age here......What if someone gave him some "Sampson"ite luggage, took it away, and then returned it to him when he ended up here? It is kind of like the "hair thing" isn't it? We could get him for a song.

I think the thing with the cap is just avoiding large, bad deals. Everything else can be fixed.

candyman93
Really like Stefanskis resume. He’s only 38, but has been coaching for 14 years in the NFL. He’s also been with a pretty stable franchise the last 2 decades in Minnesota.

candyman93
I’m looking at certain teams contracts. I think what kills a lot of teams is dead cap and getting dink and dunked by a bunch of small contracts. Guys that can be replaced by rookies are getting paid 2 million a year when they shouldn’t be. Jets are a perfect example.

I never heard anyone make this argument his issue has always been his size and reading an entire defense.

It’s not so much in here, but in gen some folks act like he has a middling arm because he’s short. He’s got a gotdamned cannon, which is obvious to anyone who’s ever seen him play.
