One of the guys I coach with has a buddy in the organization. He said Joe Woods would usually call 2-3 defenses per play and then they would have to check based on formations, alignments, etc… Makes a ton of sense why guys were busting coverages out there. It’s allegedly why half the team looked like they were running cover 4, while the other guys ran cover 2. He was the worst coach we’ve ever had, IMO.
