Rgossett07
I did my "get lost in YouTube for 5-6 hours" watching film on all the guys last night. Here are some of my last minute observations... Pitts is the pick at #6 if he is there... 6'4 Parker, 6'5 Williams, 6'6 Gesicki (4.5 speed), 6'6 Pitts (4.4 speed) and Fuller (4.32 speed). Good luck preparing for that. Chase/Waddle/D. Smith and then everyone else. It's not even close. I LOVE Chase but after watching more of Waddle I think he brings something totally different and might be more of an immediate fit for Miami. If we move back to 9/10, I'd be just fine with D. Smith if it meant we got more draft capital. My WR Pro comps are Chase - D. Adams, Waddle - T. Hill, D. Smith - Amari Cooper I just want to see what Flores could do with Jeremiah Owosu-Koromoah. He could be what Flores wanted Fitz to be. LB/S/Slot Corner. He's one of those guys that could have 6 sacks, 4 picks and 80 tackles a season. He's my top LB (based on scheme fit) in the draft. IMO G. Rousseau is better than J. Phillips. My top 3 EDGE are Paye, Ojulari and Rousseau. Etienne is best RB in the draft. I'm sure there will be debate on this. Just my eye test. This isn't an indictment on Harris or Williams. I just think Etienne is more patient, better hands and faster. I love X. Howard but i have a feeling he could be headed for a messy public feud over his contract. If Miami has a chance to trade him for a 1st to draft Farley/Surtain/Horn, I think they should look at it. Farley is special. Or if there is a trade back opportunity to pick up an additional 2nd, Asante Samuel could be a beast in the slot for years.

He's such a unique weapon that he makes all the sense in the world at 6, if he's there. Sounds like he's the pick at 4 though, unless a team trades up for a QB. 2. Agreed. There is a clear top 3 at WR. I have watched tons of film on these guys and man, I may have talked myself into preferring Waddle out of those 3. He is just so explosive, and it's not just straight-line speed like a Henry Ruggs. He can make contested catches. At worst, I have him and Smith at 1a and 1b. 3. I just don't think JOK is as good in coverage as many say, at least I didn't get that impression from the film I saw. He could definitely be a swiss army knife of sorts, though. 4. If Phillips didn't have the concussion stuff, he's my top EDGE in this draft. Dude is legit. But you can't just ignore something that serious. I like Paye the 2nd most. 5. I have them Harris/Williams/Etienne, personally. I don't like Etienne's ability to run between the tackles at the next level enough. 6. I agree. I am steeling myself to a trade of X tomorrow. No clue who @nflrums is but Barry Jackson has legitimate sources inside the org. I suggest taking what these "NFL rumors" twitter accounts tweet with a grain of salt. I agree with you on EVERYTHING, except your evaluation of Rousseau being better than Phillips. I believe Phillips is way more polished than Rousseau and for us Phillips is a great scheme fit whereas Rousseau is a 4-3 DE only IMO. That being said Phillips is a riskier draft pick with his Concussion history IMO. I can see us looking for a trade partner for Howard, but I think it's more likely we get better offers for 2022 draft picks. And I don't personally think it would involve any first round pick unless that pick was late. We simply can't have a player holding out two years into what was the highest contract at the time it was signed.

The price starts with a 1st, IMO.

The Eagles are arguably in the market for a corner, perhaps they trade us our next years 1 back for him. Alternatively I could see Miami and Philly re-trading 12 and 6 and next years first, if Pitts and Chase are off the board so Philly can grab one of the top tier corners ahead of the Cowboys and Giants.
