I also have a tiny recruiting budget so I need to be practical. Therefore I only put guys on my board that are already interested in my school. I don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking for in recruits. I just looked for guys that had high OFF or DEF ratings. The two 3 stars would obviously be ideal to land, but neither are in pipeline states of mine, which means they will be more expensive to recruit. I nabbed both 3 star guys, and I really like Anthony Hill's promise inside. Doug Holmes is actually a JUCO Sophomore, so he won't be here for 4 years. Pham's blue collar post style should make for a good bench player. I think I'm going to shut down recruiting at this point. I don't really want 7 guys graduating at the same time. I finished 9th in the conference (out of 11) but I outperformed the preseason prediction. IN CONFERENCE STATS/RANKINGS PPG RPG APG SPG BPG Turnovers Fouls FG% 3PT% 64.6 - 10th 29.6 - 3rd 13.9 - 10th 5.5 - 10th 5.4 - 5th 494 - 11th 573 - 11th 42.7 - 8th 33.3 - 11th I was pretty terrible across the board except for rebounding and blocks. Looks like scoring is my biggest problem right now.
