SF Vince Harrell 6'10" 206 69 80 66 68 67 64 56 63 67 62 64 70 71

Ware is the pass first PG I've been looking for, he has great size too and is a decent athlete.  Thurman will be good depth underneath.  Plamer is a solid athlete but can't pass, I may redshirt him.  Harrell is a little disappointing honestly.

Pretty disappointing that the conference is falling apart so bad.  IRL this is a good basketball conference.  I guess the game isn't creating enough good recruits and the major schools are getting all of the top guys.

BTW, for anyone not familiar with NCAA basketball rosters, there are only 13 scholarship players allowed per roster (total roster is always 15).  I currently only have 12, and 3 walk ons (which are the 3 terrible guys).

RECRUITING BOARD - YEAR 6
Player Position Player Type State Star OFF DEF Height Weight National Rank Positional Rank Interest
Grant Haywood SF Passer Scorer TX **** C+ A- 6'3" 194 139 23 Low
Bill Fields PF Blue Collar Post SD *** B+ C- 6'10" 234 328 72 Medium
Ray Alexander PF Complete Post PA ** A- B 6'10" 198 357 79 Highest
Max O'Dell SG Passer Scorer PA ** C A- 6'4" 181 460 115 Highest
Jamal Perry SF Passer Scorer CT ** B+ A- 6'6" 186 503 97 High

Not a great board this year.  SF Grant Haywood is the first 4 star recruit to ever show any interest at all in my program (Very Low is the lowest interest, Low shows at least some interest).  But Haywood is a 6'3" SF, so he would have to play SG, and his offense is questionable.  I guess I'll go after him regardless but I have my concerns.  I'll try to grab PF Fields and probably SF Perry, but I'll hold a scholarship for offseason recruiting.

Team Prestige is still at 2 stars, which I'm assuming won't rise until I make the NCAA Tournament.  School Pride has maxed out at 5 stars.

END OF REGULAR SEASON - YEAR 6

Final record was 24-7 (which I think might be my most wins yet), with a 12-4 in conference record.  I finished 4th in the conference once again, which is disappointing, can't seem to get over that hump.  I finished with an RPI of 74, which is by far the highest I've finished, and a pretty solid ranking to get into the 64 team NCAA tournament.  .

IN CONFERENCE STATS/RANKINGS
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG Turnovers Fouls FG% 3PT%
83.7 - 3rd 33.3 - 5th 17.1 - 5th 7.1 - 1st 8.6 - 4th 406 - 8th 547 - 9th 47.8 - 5th 41.1 - 2nd

My stats were solid all around, with the defensive stats looking pretty good.  My 3 point % is the highest its been, so I was curious why.  SF E Middelton went 16 for 29 for the season, for an insane 55.2%.  But the real reason was SG M Lowe going 89 for 209 for a 42.6%.

TOP STAT PERFORMERS - YEAR 6
PPG RPG APG SPG BPG
PF C Owens - 22.5 C C Lucas - 8.2 PG B Ware - 6.6 SG M Lowe - 1.6 C C Lucas - 2.1
SG M Lowe - 16.3 PF C Owens - 6.9 SG M Lowe - 4.1 SF E Middleton - 1.1 PF B Wilkins - 1.5
PG B Ware - 11.0 C T Stanley - 6.3 SG M Staley - 3.2 C C Lucas - 1.0 C K Fisher - 1.4

Owens led the team with 22.5 points per game, unfortunately he's still not much of a rebounder.  Lucas led the team in Rebounds but wasn't dominant in it.

SG - B Owens - 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
PG T Gaskins - 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

So unfortunately, I realized that the game doesn't track career stats.  Which is a huge bummer.  So I won't have career stats for anyone that wasn't a Freshman before this season.  I will have to track the raw stats myself.

CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT - YEAR 6

I had a bye in the First Round.

I beat Charlotte 84-64 in the Quarter Finals.

I beat Massachusetts 77-66 in the Semi Finals.

And I beat Xavier 75-67 in the Conference Finals.

That means I get an auto bid to the NCAA Tournament!
