Oh, there's the hatty and point five halfway through the game.

I believe he has 37 points..... In 20 games

And then you have Toronto media arguing that Matthews should be early favorite for the Hart. Lol

There is one best player in the world, everyone else is playing for second place.

I think he has a legit argument as the most dominant player in his sport out of all the major sports. He's every bit as good at hockey as lebron was in the nba in his prime imo.

Side note, it's hilarious that he could score 140 points a season for the next decade and still be a thousand points behind Wayne

Sometimes short term suffering is worth long term gains

For sure. We've never sucked enough to get a truly elite prospect and unfortunately that's what it looks like some teams need to get on the right track ie McDavid or Mathews. The Flames have actually never had the first overall pick before iirc.

I don't think you guys are bad enough to tank that badly. I think the next GM and head coach is going to retool. Sort out the rumored lockerroom issue, try get some help on D and go again.

Que?

So Panarin made a few statements against Putin early this year. Now comes out that an ex coach said he saw Panarin beat a young girl at a bar in 2011 and this led him down a dark path which lead him to say the anti Putin statements.

essentially a politically motivated hit piece against Panarin due to his previous anti-Putin statements.

And in the interim, he's taking a leave from the Rangers. Just crazy
