usually feels like it goes out when it's a High-Low concept vs a CB in cover 2.

The scheme of the offense says... if the CB sinks too far deep, force him to tackle the 260 lb TE.  The issue has always been that the CB tackles the 260 LB TE.

 

I'll try to take a look at it, and possibly other games on the All-22 if someone has examples of the Dickrod flat route.

Give him a chance to win his job back.

If he shows through practice or games that he has improved, so be it.

But above all....he cannot repeat this.

Probably a blow to his ego, but if he reflects and realizes what he did was dumb, it might be ok
