turtle28
I can’t think of a team that would trade for a RB who took advantage of playing for some of the best run game coordinators in NFL History. He’s a good player, take him ou5 of that system and he’s probably average just like other backs who leave that system and those coaches for other teams after they’re cut by them or not re-signed/replaced by cheaper talent.i don’t think the 49ers will trade him, bc they don’t have Breda anymore and Coleman and McKinnon are injury prone.
canadaluvsdallas
I think the NBA culture of free agency has spilled over to the NFL. Players realize how short their careers are and have to take any and every chance to play for who they want to play and how much they want to get paid. Although i don't agree with mostert I can't knock him for asking.

I mean, I guess you can ask but his leverage here is almost non-existent
Soko
@ET80 BoB going to offer Watson straight up or does he add a Day 1 pick to spice it up?

Straight up, after he signs Watson to an extension and agrees to pay 75% of said extension...
Danger
Honestly what trade value does he have? If I'm a RB needy team I'd consider a 6th..... he's just a guy and with the money he wants.. eh

Its becoming more of the norm. Much like the NBA.

But yeah, it's something in that day three range regardless.
TecmoSuperJoe
Damnit Mustard. I was hoping he'd having a late career surge like Holmes did from age 28-30 racking up All Pros. Now there is already friction.

SteelKing728
He's 28. No one is giving up more than a 6th for him. He just peaked too late relative to his position.

Plus the Shanahans can make any of us a Pro Browl RB.
