2020 Sleepers

Jerick McKinnon if knee is healthy could be this years Mostert.  Derrick Carr should be streamer worthy and a sleep superflex QB. Marvin Jones shouldn't be a sleeper but every year we all sleep on him and every year he out performs his ADP by allot. James Washington entering his 3rd year and not doing as bad as people think with terrible QB play is a late round WR I'm targeting in a few of my leagues. Ronald Jones II might be the Alpha Back in a Brady dump down offense, huge ppr upside imo (I'm not much of Vaughn believer). Couple more WR I'm looking at late are Anthony Miller and Brandon Aiyuk. Not sure where K. Murray's ADP is but he has potential to finish top 3 QB, I personally have him ranked 6th currently. Jonathan Taylor and Clyde Edwards-Helaire gap should be closer than what I'be seen I think one is slightly overated while the other slightly under

For PPR leagues, I'll give values and actual sleepers.

I don't generally do QB sleepers, because once you get to a certain point, they are all interchangeable, and it's really hard to break into that highest of tiers if you don't run. So in that regard, the only quarterback that's worth mentioning at this point is probably Cam, who is going outside of the top 20 quarterbacks, including behind guys like Rivers, which is insane.

RB - you're going to want to avoid James White as your pass catching specialist, so I'd go with Cohen, who is going at RB34, a couple spots later. I like the value of James Connor; RB20 in ppr leagues and I'd rather have him than David Johnson, Lev Bell, Chris Carson and  Melvin Gordon.

Damien Harris is a cagey pick up late, and I kind of like Justin Jackson as the compliment to Ekeler just because without the off season, not being used to pass protections and the like, I'm not sure how much Kelley is going to get in there.

WR - I love Allen Robinson and Calvin Ridley for value.  Robinson is going as WR11 right now, however I think barring injury, he's an easy pick as a guy to outplay his ADP. He gets so much volume. Avoid Hopkins who is going as wr 3/4 and in the top 10, and instead go RB / RB in rounds 1 and 2 then grab Robinson in round 3 if you can (he's going around pick 30 overall), and your team will be better for it.

Calvin Ridley may be this year's Godwin. Atlanta throws a ton, and it's basically he and Julio. Robert Woods is going in the same range (Ridley is wr17, Woods wr 19) and if he gets any sort of touchdown regression he's going to end up as a #1 WR in the top 12 I think. Robert Woods last year had 90 catches on 140 targets, over 1130 yards. Cooper Kupp finished as wr4 last year in PPR and had 94 on 134 targets, 1161 yards. Their statlines were nearly identical, yet one finished wr4 and the other wr14, all because of touchdowns, which can be volatile.

It's guys like Robinson / Ridley / Woods that make me feel really good about going RB / RB in the first two rounds if I want because I think that there's a good chance I can get two receivers as wr1s in rounds 3 and 4.

Deeper sleepers- @NcFinest9erFan covered a few of them. Give me Johnson all day. He's going wr38, just inside the top 100 (#99) in ppr leagues, and that offense should be so much better next year and there should be some nice positive regression for a lot of the offense there. Perriman is going as WR60, and could be the #1 outside receiver for the jets, which has some value, especially if you think that they will be bad. Golden Tate is about as consistent as it gets and he's going as wr55...that's kind of insane. He's going to outplay that by a decent amount barring injury; he was top 30 in points per game last year. Fuller and Cooks both have an wr ADP of 36 lol...shows that people aren't really sure in which way to go in that regard. Fuller has incredible chemistry with Watson who looks for him a ton. Another one to get is Marvin Jones. He's so underrated and he was better than you think last year, checking in as a wr2 in points per game (wr #21)

TE - I don't really have any value guys here. The top 4 by ADP are all going in the top 4 rounds, and that's just too early for me with regards to tight ends. Hunter Henry is probably the closest I would have to value as he is going as TE7, just outside of the top 80 overall. But at that point, I don't really want to carry the injury risk either. So I'm about waiting. Sleepers are plentiful here because you can see a path to big seasons for all of these guys.

  • Chris Herndon - he was very good as a rookie, had a lost year last season. He and Darnold had good chemistry.
  • Hayden Hurst - this is a deep league sleeper, mainly based on the idea that I don't think Hooper was really that good. That being said, I am knocking guys who changed team this year, so he's probably a little lower on my list.
  • TJ Hockenson - the team was a disaster last year after Stafford got hurt, and first year tights ends are quite often a fantasy black hole. he was an obvious bust before the drafts last year. Going as TE14.
  • Did anyone else know that Gesicki and Goedert finished as TE1s last year? Goedert was #10 in points, Gesicki #12. They are going 15 and 17.

There's just a lot to like at the bottom of the tight end chart. Obviously, most will bust out, but there are some super intriguing guys late. I would advise that even if you are waiting, you should just pick one. get the guy you want, but don't put yourself into a situation where you are debating between two guys each week.

If you can get Miles as your 2nd RB, I think it'd a good things to do. Dude has been working his tail off this offseason, showed steady improvement over the course of the year last year, and it seems we're leaning on giving him the bulk of the touches rather than going purely RB by committee as we have for years now. Boston Scott will still get play time each game, and we may even get a couple touches for a 3rd guy, but Sanders is gonna get a big workload.

His average draft position right now is actually as an RB1. I like him, but a lot of people do I guess. He's getting drafted as Rb10 / 11, higher than both ekeler and Aaron Jones

I like him more than Ekeler too, not sure about Jones though

I'll take both of them over Sanders. I think people are banking on him getting traditional bellcow touches and I don't think that is how Pederson likes to roll if he can help it. I think he'll get a smaller snap share than people think.
