Best In Your Division?

Who has the best group of players in each division?

AFC North

QB: Bengals (Burrow...just a hunch)
RB: Browns (Chubb)
FB: Ravens (Ricard)
WR: Browns (OBJ/Landry)
TE: Browns (Hooper/Njoku/Bryant)
OT: Ravens (Tunsil/Brown)
OG: Steelers (DeCastro/Wisniewski)
OC: Browns (Tretter)

DE:  Steelers (Watt/Dupree)
DT: Ravens (Wolfe/Williams/Campbell) or Bengals (Atkins/Reader)
LB: All bad. I think I like the Bengals the most based on potential (Pratt/Wilson/Davis-Gaither/Bailey)
CB: Ravens (Humphery/Peters/Smith/Young)
S: Bengals (Bates/Bell)

K: Ravens (Tucker)
P: Browns (Gillan)
RET: Steelers (D. Johnson)

Browns: 5
Ravens: 4 (+1 Tie)
Steelers: 3
Bengals 2 (+ 1 tie)

I agree with a lot of these, so i'll focus where I disagree.

QB.  Love the hunch, especially if true, but as of this minute, Burrow hasn't even signed his rookie contract yet, and Lamar is the reigning MVP.  Ravens.

WR.  Hard to argue top 2, but if we are going all unit, a healthy AJ green sways this a bit with Boyd, Higgins and Ross being deeper overall.  Even if Green returns to 2015 form, he and Boyd are slightly behind OBJ and Landry.  The ravens room of Brown, Boykin and Snead are sneaky deep as well.  Just depends on how deep you look.  Push .  Or two deep-Browns, 3-4 deep Ravens/Bengals

LB:  I'd put Dupree and Watt as OLBs, plus Bush inside.  Steelers   But this blows up the DE rankings, so.....

DE  I'd say Garrett and Vernon as the top two, followed closely by Wolfe and Campbell, but Dunlap, Lawson and Hubbard as the best three.  So push between Ravens, Browns, and Bengals

RET- Brandon Wilson just led the NFL in KR, plus they have Phillips and Erickson sharing duties at both KR and PR.  I'll take that unit over one guy.

WR is easily Bengals to me. It’s literally insane that Auden Tate is a #5 and Alex Erickson is a #6 on that team lol

If the Panthers had another back worth a damn, they wouldn't have to overuse McCaffrey.

I mean they can find a guy who can touch the ball 6-8x per game to take the load off McCaffrey. It's not hard to find a 3 yards and a cloud of dust backup running back.

The Panthers just choose not to because of how good McCaffrey is and they are going to regret it once they run him into the ground in 2 more years and he turns into current Todd Gurley

What they should do is go send a pick over to Denver for Royce Freeman to be that guy since DEN doesn't need him anymore with Gordon/Lindsay

They’re deep, but the Browns #1 & 2 are both better than any other WRs in the division, assuming AJ Green doesn’t defy all logic and comes back on the wrong side of 30 and a myriad of injuries to be back to his prime.

I probably should have listed the top 3 WRs for each team, not just the top 2 starters since a ton of teams consider their #3 a starter.

Also, I’m not high on Tee Higgins. I think he’s going to be another Auden Tate. Good at catching hero balls down the field, but never really a starting outside WR on a good team.

For Safeties, I'd just put ????. I don't think any of the 4 teams have a top 20 duo. And I give a slight edge to Saquon over Zeke.

NFC East

QB: Eagles (Wentz.... but Dak is closer than some Eagles fans wanna believe)
RB:  Giants (Barkley... giving him the edge over Zeke cause of age and Zeke being less explosive now and I'll take Lewis over Pollard for now)
FB: idk... (somewhat irrelevant in today's NFL... although I guess its coming back somewhat)
WR: Cowboys (Cooper/Gallup/Lamb)
TE: Eagles (Ertz/Goedert)
OT: Cowboys (Smith/Collins)
OG: Eagles (Brooks/Seumalo)
OC: Eagles (Kelce might be the best center in the game)

DE:  Washington Football Team (Kerrigan/Young/Sweat)
DT: Eagles (Cox/Hargrave/Jackson)
LB: Cowboys (Smith/Vander Esch/Lee)
CB: Eagles (Slay/Robey-Coleman)
S: Giants? (Peppers/McKinney)

K: Eagles (Elliot)
P: Washington (Way)
RET: Washington Football Team (Sims)

Eagles: 7
Cowboys: 3
Washington: 3

Giants: 1 (maybe?)

I’m bored so I’ll put them in order 1-4...

AFCS

QB: Texans, Titans, Colts, Jags

RB: Titans, Colts, Texans, Jags

WR: Texans, Titans, Colts, Jags

TE: Titans, Colts, Texans, Jags

OL: Colts, Titans, Jags, Texans

DL: Colts, Jags, Titans, Texans

Edge: Colts, Jags, Texans, Titans - This could very well change whenever the Jags trade Yannick and if the Titans sign Clowney. Then I’d probably go Colts, Titans, Texans, Jags

ILB: Titans, Texans, Colts, Jags

CB: Titans, Colts, Texans, Jags

S: Titans, Colts, Texans, Jags

K: Texans, Jags, Colts, Titans

P: Titans, Texans, Colts, Jags

Gotta take Brooks out of the equation for us at OG. It's probably Giants there. Will Hernandez is good and probably getting better, and Zeitler should be better/healthier this year. Agree the Cowboys edge us out at OT until Dillard proves something, but I think La'el is just average.

We have to take injured players out?

If that''s so, then guard is a toss up.  Cowboys have the best one, but Giants probably are more balanced.

Depth though I'd give the nod to the Cowboys.

Saquon slightly better than Zeke, Cowboys depth is better. That makes it a wash really. In a vacuum where injuries don't exist though, give me the better starter.
