RE: Diggs

He had issues with general awareness in college. His physical traits make him a good bet to become something, but how far away that is could be a tough guess. He has a lot to work with but too many times you just saw him kind of look lost. If he can get a bettet understanding of what is to come, understand why it may come, and put himself in better position because he understands, he could be a playmaker. But it likely wont be soon.

A converted WR. You'd expect that. It's about learning the position.

It appears they are going with the veterans in most areas atm which makes sense this season (for however much there is of it).

The most interesting thing for me so far has been the linebackers.

If LVE's neck is sorted it releases Jaylon for his best role. With Lee to slide in when needed (suits him at this point in his career), a couple of solid backups and what appears to be a promising UDFA that unit could stand out, as it showed signs of doing 2 years ago.

They need to get at least decent tackles into practice to really show what the DL has. Aldon Smith could be scary and the DE group might be a problem for anyone - sounds like Hill is greatly improved in year 2, want to hear about how Gallimore is going.

*shrug* not sure why they did this with Smith instead of Martin, who was already under contract through '24 and hasn't had nearly as many injuries. Perhaps he and others will be restructured next year

If its about saving cap space, extend Crawford on a team friendly deal and move some of his large cap space down the road and roll over the savings.

I've wondered if they'd look into doing this. The guy played like two games last year though so if he can't hold up this year I would guess they just move on, finally, or maybe re-sign him for the vet min.

There is some suggestions that FA S HAHA won't be a starter...interesting.

That is interesting. Given who we currently have on the roster...who would get the go ahead of him?
