I can give it a whirl, truly dreadful team without a 1st so it won't be much fun but I already have an ESPN team so I can check it when I'm on the app.

Why not give the better roster to your better half? 😃

Sorry to hijack but looking for advice.

I'm Commish of a 10 man NFL.com fantasy league and we're trying to figure out the best way to handle the covid issues that might impact our fantasy teams. If a player is added to the covid list I'm assuming he won't be able to play for 2 weeks or at least until he's given the all clear. This will cause havoc with fantasy teams pushing them to the point of being forced to drop a good player just so they could field a lineup each week.

Some of my league mates suggested adding an extra bench spot, others have suggested creating a reserve spot or two.

Waivers is an important part of our fantasy league as every team is given 100 coin to begin the season. We all make anonymous bids and whoever happens to bid highest or have the highest waiver priority gets the player.

I'm worried that increasing the roster size will deplete the quality of waiver players and in turn reduces the competitiveness of competing for waiver players each week because the teams are hogging all the good players.

I'm thinking creating reserve spots might be the best way forward but I don't fully understand how it works.

I gather the player has to be IR, PUP, Suspended, non football related injury reserve or exempt in order to be transferred to the reserve spot. Once the player becomes eligible you have a choice of either cutting him or cutting one of your players to make space for the eligible player on your team. That act of cutting the player boosts the quality of waivers and keeps the league competitive.

Have I understood this right? How many reserve spots should I create? Any better suggestions perhaps?

Thanks.
