What's so new about the "new" offense?

Chubb is a much better runner than hunt. He is more explosive, and has better balance and strength with better vision.

Hunt is better at breaking tackles, better agility and more instinctive, with superior hands and route running.

Not sure what that's based on.

Assuming the financials are reasonable, we need to sign Hunt yesterday. 3/$18 mil likely gets it done with all the uncertainty going on.

Imo he bounces out of tackles better than chub  does. Deflects the defender.

Chubb relies more on cuts and exploding past guys.

Not a hill I will die on though

Chubb is elite and so is Hunt. If Hunt hadn't have had his off-the-field stuff, he'd be getting set to cash in big, like 4/$44 mil and big guarantees. He's no slouch and could be a top-10 back if given the volume.

No doubt, chubb is top 5 and hunt is top 10 imo. I think there is a notable difference

If given a lead back role/spot. He would easily be a top5 back in the league. He is by far one of the better receiving threats for a RB. Might be the 2nd/3rd best receiving back in the league for a Dude who is a legit starter/workhorse type back (not counting the specialists type backs, where their main job is to catch the ball). He is one of the best, if not the best l blocking back in the league IMO. Hunt looked good playing some FB last year. If he never got suspended, he easily be top3 back, especially the way he was playing with Mahomes.

some people need to watch Hunt film again from his first 1.5yrs in the league. He was nasty!  It’s not like he did it all with Mahomes as the QB. His rookie year was with Smith

browns are just great in a great spot that they have two stud RBs (thanks dorsey) and one might be cheaper because of his off the field issue.  Gotta try and keep both Hunt and Chubb.

IMO I would keep Hunt and Chubb over Landry and OBJ. Giving Baker that running attack would greatly benefit him. I think when Baker makes the jump is when we move on from those backs. All the running game to help develop WRs that will replace Landry and OBJ and once those WRs are established, move one from the RBs to develop another core of RBs

Hunt is better out of the backfield/better on passing downs.

Chubb may be a better pure runner, but only one of them has a rushing title and it’s not Chubb.

I think Chubb is fantastic, but people are really underselling Hunt.

Well, he probably would have won it last year if it wasn't for a certain imbecile we had as head coach...

Not true because if we didn’t have an imbecile, the passing concepts Would have actually worked. So the passing attack could have actually worked

The major difference from an X’s and O’s standpoint will be that our players and coaches will know how to get to the line, line up properly in a legal formation, get a snap off without a delay of game, then hopefully post snap our offensive line understands it’s blocking assignment, our wide receivers understand their routes, and our QBs understand the read progressions. Then hopefully Because our team isn’t playing panicked and stressed out from the pressures of having the worst organized and prepared coach in NFL history, we will play smarter and with more discipline and get way less penalties.

The scheme difference between this year and last is we have a coach who gets oxygen to his brain. Freddie fit every stereotype of a dumb simpleton southern redneck. Freddie Kitchens didn’t have a good handle on X’s and O’s because he can’t get that far in the alphabet.

The move from a gap to wide zone scheme will be the toughest schematic change on the OL (especially interior) and RB.

Since Chubb is already a 1 cut and go downhill RB, I don’t foresee this as a huge issue for him.

Bitonio and Tretter as vets should be fine, but with limited practice reps, they’ll have a learning curve.

Mayfield will need to work on his drop back footwork on wide zone play action and know presnap who his 2-3 options are, which shouldn’t be hard if Jared Goff in 2018 could figure it out.

They ran wide zone concepts last year and Chubb was quiet deadly when they did. I believe he lead all RBs when it came to wide zone plays in yards, yards after contact, and first downs. So the returning guys know how to run wide zone. Freddie was just a moron and didn’t properly utilize it. Hell wide zone should be a lot better when you add the tackles like Conklin and Wills into the mix.
