There’s a condemner and a condemnee. If I die, the condemner automatically fulfills their wincon to my understanding so if that person is still alive they can still get their win, if not I was never informed (nor am I sure I would be) of their death. The ability I chose has made it easy to not have to be worried about getting killed.
