Got your board ready? Who are you targeting?

More or less. Right now, my plans are:

Round 1:

1. Trade Down

2a. Roquan Smith

2b.. Leighton Vander Esch

(Going to deep dive on all three LBs to determine which one I want)

Round 2:

Looking for a LT, but if I don't like the ones available, Dallas Goedert is a guy I really like

Round 3:

Shaquem Griffin is a guy I am targeting, and with my other pick, I'll likely go LT if I don't go with one in the 2nd assuming there's a LT I like (ex. Geron Christian)

Round 5:

Hoping for J.K. Scott or Dickson

Beyond that, I'll wait and see who is available.

With the 9th pick, the Gunslingers select MLB Leighton Vander Esch out of Boise State.

If there's a trade down in the next 2-3 picks, I have the option to accept that trade down in lieu of this pick.

The Gunslinger accept the Arizona Cardinals' trade offer. Terms of the deal:

Gunslingers trade Pick #9

Cardinals trade Pick #15, Pick #79, and Pick #152

Going into Day 2, my top three targets are Harold Landry, Dallas Goedert, and Mike Gesicki. I'm still torn on Connor Williams.

There goes Landry. He would have been my pick. As it stands now, I'm choosing between Goedert and Connor Williams. I'm torn, but I think I'm leaning towards Williams.

Coming into the Draft, Goedert was the guy I wanted the most in the 2nd Round (although, I didn't think Landry would get close to my pick). I didn't like Williams's 2017 film. However, I started to reconsider based on the strength of Williams's 2016 film and my concern that I might not get the LT I want in Round 3 (Geron Christian). However, I gotta trust my gut here. Panicking on draft day and making an impulsive pick is always a bad idea. I see Goedert being a Travis Kelce level player at TE. I think he can be a great blocker and receiver. Goff needs all the help he can get. I had to stick with my guy.
