After this series against Utah I doubt he'd be available, but I think a Murray for Simmons swap (with other pieces) makes sense.

BStanRamFan
The player to move is Embiid given the current teams make up, his injury history, and the inability to move Horford/Harris. No one will take their contract. Harris is a top 5 worst contract in the league. Simmons/Harris/Horford/Shooter/Wing Scorer is competitive in the East. Only teams that come to mind for Embiid are Knicks, Hawks, Bulls, and Hornets. Possibly Cavs. Embiid for Markenen/Otto Porter/1st

Philadelphia receives: Lauri Markanen, Otto Porter, 4th overall pick Chicago receives: Joel Embiid Other potential trades that could work in terms of cap... A trade to Brooklyn... Brooklyn receives: Joel Embiid Philadelphia receives: Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, Lance Thomas, 19th pick A trade to Golden State... Golden State receives: Joel Embiid Philadelphia receives: Andrew Wiggins, #2 overall pick, Minnesota 2021 1st round pick (top 3 protected) A trade to Atlanta... Individually dominate, but not a good defender, would take the ball out of other star players.. And he doesn't always play hard, with a health risk as well. But that won't stop someone from biting so who knows.. mabye..

The only way the trade could work in terms of cap is if Capela is in the deal and they'd also have to give up either DeAndre Hunter or Cam Reddish and Bruno Fernando. But I can't really see Philadelphia moving on from Embiid and taking back three bigs in return.

He basically built a tent under the rim the whole series.
