2020 kicking competion - FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY, BREAK THE CURSE

Well, the real competition no one outside the organization is witnessing.  Kicking in the stadium has to be a priority.

There should be no loyalty to Gay.  A day 3 pick is a lottery ticket anyway, there is very minimal investment.

May the best man win.  If Fry is even marginally better, he has to get the nod.  Gay has a terrific leg and a great back story, but so did Kyle Brindza.  🤨

Pretty sad we’ve yet to find a reliable kicker yet. What is our ST coach doing? This has to be his lane and give input. Me thinks Gay is not the answer. 0/4 week 17 still puts a sour taste in Arians mouth I bet. He shares second most blame after Winston for that collapse.

Fry probably isnt the answer either. Our best bet honestly is to find a kicker who is accurate. I think we have a better chance converting a 4th down with Brady on a 4th and 6 then kicking it from 50+ anyway.

In this situation, I believe Gay has to beat Succop out right to be in NOLA wk 1.  With expanded PS, I do think some teams will carry a kicker on there.  I think the Bucs have minimal risk cutting Gay and trying to get him on the PS.  Of course, Succop needs to do his job.
