FSU should be in the Top 25 soon just for not having Taggart anymore. They had 4th Q leads in most of their losses last season.

I'm ok with ranking teams not playing "in the fall" as long as 1) the national champion is determined AFTER spring and 2) the team plays in spring

Otherwise it makes no sense.

Otherwise it makes no sense.

I know that's probably not what the intended message is, but I don't see how you can rank the best teams for this upcoming football season without implying that you want said football season. And I don't think the AP should be implying that.
