Still shocked his value across the league isn't/wasn't higher.

No doubt his run D is an issue at times due to size but as a pure pass rusher he's very good. Look at pressures since his rookie year and he's top 5.

Definitely not on that Boss/Garrett $ level due to that, but I would have given him 20-21M for sure. Would think a player of that caliber, while still only being 25, would be worth that.

It’s amazing how much roster turnover the Jags has had in just 3 years since the AFC Championship appearance.

What should’ve been a steppingstone to a “new era” for the next decade has instead led them to be right back in a similar spot they were this past decade.

That team was never staying together long term. All of it returned for 2018 and we were atrocious due to the QB play. Until you find an at least average QB the team isn't going to have consistent/sustained success.

The fact Yan, Ramsey, and ARob (let go before that team) aren't building blocks for the next 5+ years though at the very least is pretty pathetic/sad though. Team finally figured out drafting to a certain extent and didn't even keep the guys they hit home runs on.

Chark better be a well paid man come early next year.

But because Jaguars, you'll probably lose the SB and Yan wont make the Pro Bowl

Is it better to lose the Super Bowl or have the season canceled right before playing in it?

Why couldn't they trade with a team with all of the luck that could help turn that into a3rd

This is either a one year rental...

eh, hard to say. from the player's perspective he gets a new stadium to play in, a new facility to train in, and a defensive minded head coach. fans are going to love him too.

fresh, exciting start for him.

Yeah but he's on a tag. You have to pay him what he wants in an extension. As a premium rusher that's going to be around the same you paid Hunter.

If you do it, probably spells the end of Cook and maybe Harris.

The Jags waited too long to trade him.

By all accounts, this is the best offer they received. A number of factors went into depressing his trade value, and the Jaguars got hosed because of it. It's the organization's fault, yes. But not because they waited too long.
