Two teams have moved him, hes 23 and hasnt really hit for any power yet, isnt a great contact guy and theres a chance he stays in left. By no means does this mean that teams dont make mistakes or just do stupid things, but we have some pretty decent evidence that Taylor Trammel might not be as good as some think. Agreed. Seattle seems to love these Speed+ players. Dee, Mallax, Maybin, Bishop have all been brought in; none of which have really worked out. Seattles FO probably saw alot of what they liked in JP Crawford, in Trammell. Former highly regarded prospect with glaring holes in their game and recent struggles. Padres get a guy (Nola) that helps them in 2020-2021 while giving up a player not in their plans past 2020, and Seattle gets a reclamation project (something they like) with some interesting attributes. Seems like both teams got what is best for the franchises currently.
Slateman
Trammell projects to Brett Gardner level production. If he can play in CF, that's great. If he's relegated to LF, they need to introduce him to power lifting.
