Yup, we made the Saints look bad in week 1 and they still finished 13-3. This was week 1 with no preseason. It’ll only get better from here. RpMc
Zimmer/Patterson/Zimmer will have to adjust. You can't play man and match quarters without pressure from your front four.
Heimdallr
Can someone explain to me how Holton Hill was allowed to single cover Davante Adams all game with no adjustment after getting repeatedly burned?

LaFleur did a good job of helping ID man coverage, TE's and backs split out wide followed by Barr or Kendricks, and then motioning them back in. Turned a lot of plays in to first looks going Adams way.
TENINCH
Zimmer isn't a fan of playing rookies. I hope he gives them a shot as we progress through the season. You cant add 15 picks to your team and not really use them.

Because it’s becoming evident that teams have a blueprint on Zimmer’s defense, and it doesn’t look like he really knows how to adjust it. SemperFeist
On a positive note, Jefferson has already surpassed the lofty expectations set by Treadwell for a rookie wide receiver.

O’Neill set expecting Smith to go up field and opened up the inside. from my eye, it was on O’Neill.
SemperFeist
This, combined with giving up 6 scores in 8 possessions is a bad sign for Zimmer’s defense. We saw the defense take a big step back from what we’ve grown accustomed to last year. And today’s game doesn’t give much hope.
