Yep. I need them to start losing talent like we are starting to have to.

I think Dak is a really good QB and around the same as Wentz if we are ranking QBs. I would still take Carson barring injury, but I digress.

Cowboys could've chose to extend Dak before the Eagles got the Wentz deal done. I mean we still had the 5th year option in our back pocket.

Even then, they could've got a deal done after Wentz for a little more and still couldn't get that done.

Wentz signed for 4 years/128 million which comes out to an average of 32 million per year.

Cowboys could've got Dak for 31-33 million depending on if they did the deal before or slightly after Carson. 

Why they couldn't get it done? I have no clue.

Now, Dallas will need to pay Dak 38 to 40 million like Watson when they didn't have to.

I doubt Dak takes less then Watson gotta be 41 a year.
