There are 52 other player on each team. Houston gave up 51 points, you can't blame Watson who had an excellent game with 388 passing yards, 37 more rushing, 2 TD's and a third on the ground... but he doesn't play on defence. He couldn't cover Travis Kelce? He couldn't get pressure on Mahomes? He couldn't take advantage of doubles on Watt? He called a fake punt on 4th down deep in his own territory? He gave up a 65 yard return to set up the Chiefs in scoring position? He fumbled a kickoff to set up KC in scoring position? Hmm, if he's responsible for all that ...he's getting underpaid. 9 hours ago, RamblinMan99 said: There's a lot of teams just get into the playoffs by slipping through the cracks. Winning a division is now slipping through the cracks? Odd definition... but do you, boo. 9 hours ago, RamblinMan99 said: Houston's part of a terrible division. - Colts made the AFCCG in 2014 - Jags in 2017 - Titans in 2019 So, pretty sure it's a lot better than you think. Colts had their QB retire prematurely and the Jags had internal issues that are now coming to light, but this division sent more teams to the final four than any other division over the last six seasons... Pretty sure you didn't know that.
patriotsheatyan
Deshaun Watson isn’t real. The real Deshaun Watson was kidnapped by the FBI 7 years ago. The current one is a plant to help the NFL cultivate Jersey revenue to help fund underground cloning research for the Five Eyes.

So technically, no, Watson couldn't get pressure on Mahomes.

Yeah, it's definitely slipping through the cracks when your division isn't worth a happy meal. That's the AFC South for damn sure. Tennessee might not have the magic season they had last year despite the new additions. And, forget the other two teams, so Houston doesn't have much to fight off. A lot has changed since then (not like their spineless QB decided to walk away from the game or anything). And, Jacksonville has literally lost most of its starting roster from cuts and trades since then. So, you can't nit pick excuses from multiple years ago and insert them to make your team look better. It's all within the Bill O'Brien era, so it's pretty relevant to this discussion. Sorry it ruins your narrative, but that's not my problem - pick a better stance to take. And one of my examples was... from last season. If that's not recent, then I don't know what is.
