How will the NFL do this year financially

Teams are going to be in the red, but I think they’ll be okay long term. Judging from the Packers financials, their mix is roughly 60% is national revenue, 40% local. Most of the local revenue (game day/sponsorships) is probably dead. National TV money will come in though. Throw in depreciation on these tax payer funded stadiums doesn’t have a cash hit, the business will be fine.

Ratings will be down. It’s an election year which has historically lead to drops (Fox News is beating many nba games...). Throw in Covid market saturation right now with every sport going on and I could easily see a double digit drop. Networks are inflating numbers though this year counting out of home numbers though for the first time so that might offset some of the dip.
