The Third Rider Posted September 20, 2020 Share Posted September 20, 2020 This team will lose if it gets in a shootout, but if we get in a shootout the issue is not the offense but the defense for getting in one. I am not going to lay blame on the offense when the strength of this team is clearly the defense. Long gone are the days that Tom would bail out the defense for putting on stinker, but if we are to win we have to have the defense helping in getting the ball back or getting it in good field position for the offense to score (ditto for special teams).
