I just want to know why SI thinks we need TWO edge rushers and ONE RB in our first 6 PICKS.....  crazy.

and YES I want to see us draft regular contributors in the draft at S, CB, DT, and LB. I would also like depth at OL.  Mix our first 6 picks in these positions.

What mock is that? It sounds....bizarre.

Huge fan of Slater. After that....woof. That’s not good.

I don’t like that draft at all.

Sports Illustrated is down the toilet, and the I’ve literally never heard of the guy who wrote it, Matthew Postins. I don’t think this is the type of thing we should be taking seriously. This would not be a good outcome.

Amen to that.

Since we’ve been circling around the same topics and prospects for a month or so, here’s a little novel scenario:

-Dak is re-signed
-Gallup is traded for his equivalent at DT (Who? Not sure, but just pretend)
-The QBs are of the board, as are Sewell, Slater, Farley, & Surtain
-No reasonable trade down offers are available

Give me your top 5 choices for #10.

Pitts seems like the most logical choice.

But I would note Hate Waddle. Speed on this Offense & a natural replacement for Gallup.

I’d need to spend more time on the WR in the event they became a real option, but my initial thought would be:

1) Waddle
2) Pitts
3) Chase
4) Smith

Waddle just adds such a perfect dimension to this offense that it doesn’t currently have, and Pitts is going to be a true matchup nightmare in the NFL. But I kind of think I would even take any of these 4 over Farley or Surtain if we traded Gallup away.

I don’t particularly like it, but the offensive value is far superior in this scenario.

1. Chase
2. Waddle
3. Smith
4. Pitts

Can’t narrow down a 5th prospect right now, but Darrisaw, Vera-Tucker, Jaelan Phillips, and Moehrig would likely be in the mix.

Push comes to shove and no trade down is available, I might....might, be willing to move #10 for future picks all together.

Would not suck. Remember at the start of the season when Wade was considered CB1? Lol

If gallup is traded. It opens up a lot. We saw how explosive our offense was with CeeDee. No reason to not keep that up.

Ideas we trade gallup for a CB.

Sign a FS and DT in FA. And party with Pitts or Waddle.
