DoleINGout
Things are so much different this season with COVID, no Brady, and a lot of tempered expectations. The Patriots began 2020 without any cap space but now are speculated to lead all teams in cap space. With notable players like Hightower sitting out this season and set to return in 2021, along with hopefully regular crowd attendance, next season will be completely different as well. Well, at least that is the projection anyways. Going off of cap projections and knowing that the Pats sit pretty much at the top of the list in terms of money to spend, compile a list of notable players, (in your opinion), who will be apart of the change going into 2021, including notable re-signings. Feel free to use the format below to compile a list of the team changes you want or expect to see. Notable Unrestricted Free Agent(s): Notable Re-Signed Free Agent(s): Notable Early Draft Pick(s) by Position: Notable Restricted Free Agent(s): Notable Departure(s): Notable Trade(s): Notable Front Office or Coach Change: Notable Surprise Contributor(s) from 2020: Notable Concern(s) in 2021:

Is five seasons with Cam - who at his best was always mercurial and patchy - really better than 10+ years Lawrence? Throw in the sheer amount of seething should the Pats get TL, and I'd call that perfect.

I also think Sunshine praise out weighs his talent. He's still a top pick but by no means, he walking in leading a team to the SB. Some think he second coming. DoleINGout
Julian Edelman confirmed gone after 2020, if not at some point during it. Surprised it didn't come sooner. 😉
Hunter2_1
Edelman can suck it up. It's not a playground where you always play with your buddies, it's business and people move on. He's our rock on the receiving corps, he needs to be Jules! The dog! Notable Unrestricted Free Agent(s): Leonard Williams Notable Re-Signed Free Agent(s): Cam Newton Notable Early Draft Pick(s) by Position: Off ball Linebacker Notable Restricted Free Agent(s): Daniel Ross Notable Departure(s): Julian Edelman Notable Trade(s): Jarrett Stidham (in some sort of trade to get better draft pick) Notable Front Office or Coach Change: Mike Lombardi Notable Surprise Contributor(s) from 2020: Adrian Phillips Notable Concern(s) in 2021: WRs again. SBLIII
I can't really answer those questions but best case as above noted would be Cam balling out. I don't think it's going to happen, so I think we will draft fairly high and get a franchise QB by trading up inside the top 5-7. I also think there is going to be a complete wipeout next year. I think Hightower, Chung, McCourty x2, Edelman and a couple others won't be on the 2021 53 roster. And we will see if Belichick would be ready to go through that process. But as always in the NFL, if you have competent leadership in terms of coaches, ownership and find a QB you can compete for everything immediately. It will certainly be intriguing what we will do with a boatload of cap.

DoleINGout
Regardless of whether or not Cam is back, I expect Trubisky to be highly coveted and likely acquired in some fashion by the Pats.

Could also be others in there like Prescott and Darnold. The big question will be if the Patriots want to draft a QB in the first round
