Mullen 6th ranked corner so far this season. Most notably, he’s been by far the best press man corner in the league.

Mullen has had some bad plays in run support, but we are looking solely at coverage performance here. And he has been a standout player in that facet thus far — particularly in press-man coverage, where his length and physicality come in handy.

On such snaps, Mullen has recorded a 90.8 coverage grade, which leads all cornerbacks. For perspective, the next best sits at 86.9, and then there is only one other corner to produce a grade above 80.0. Mullen has seen five targets when playing press-man and allowed just one to be caught while recording three forced incompletions.

Props to Mullen. He’s developing very nicely. He was an absolute stud in the Patriot game, played absolutely great in the Saints game, and overall is having a tremendous season. Proud of our boy. Keep up the great work.

You can honestly make a case Mullen is our best player on the entire 53 so far this season. It’s him, Hudson, or Jacobs, and I’d give the nod to Mullen honestly.

Yea Mullen is a true stud. Corners are so tough to gauge coming out of college and I think Mayock hit a home run with Trayvon. Probably his best overall pick potentially.

Jacobs and Mullen looking like studs, and Abram has had his ups and downs this season but overall has looked more good than bad, and probably our second best player on defense at the moment.

Come on Ferrell... 6.5 Sacks, More Consistent Pressures, and Elite Run Defending is what we want from ya this year.

If Ferrell steps up, it turns into a ridiculous draft class.

Not to mention Crosby looked like a long-term starter at DE, Moreau is a TE2 on most teams (should be above Witten), Renfrow is a long-term slot WR and Ingold as an UDFA is already a top 5 FB.

Helluva good class even if Ferrel doesn't pan out.

His movement skills and hip flexibility are unbelievable for his size. He has a great mentality as well. We need more guys like him.

Per PFF, Clelin Ferrell recorded 9 pressures yesterday, the highest single-game total of his career. His previous high was 3

#RaiderNation

That was a great game from him. He was making Mahomes uncomfortable and that is key. He might not ever be a high sack total guy because of explosiveness, but cause mayhem!

PFF:

Highest-graded edge defenders in Wk 5 ahead of MNF:

1. Demarcus Lawrence - 94.9
2. Aldon Smith - 92.1
3. Clelin Ferrell - 86.7
4. Pernell McPhee - 81.3

Ferrell’s real grade must be a 99.9 then cause PFF always downplays the **** out of him because they hated him in the draft and have a confirmation bias complex.

Praise:

Henry Ruggs III - Changes the whole offense!

Derek Carr

Clelin Ferrell

Maxx Crosby

Kwait

Trayvon Mullen

Jon Gruden

PG - 2nd Half

As much hate as PG gets on here, his adjustments in the 2nd half against both the Saints and Chiefs won us both of those games.

Edit: Forgot Nelson!!! Legit WR2!!
