candyman93 Posted February 8, 2021 Author Share Posted February 8, 2021 I think schematically, I don’t get what Reid was doing. You can’t just “out throw” a Cover 2 defense from a 3-4 base. You have to make your opponents safeties respect your ability to run or you’re screwed. The entire point of that defense is to make windows super tight. However, somebody needs to pull him aside and talk to him about protecting himself. These sequences alone will result in injuries 7 years from now.
