To be honest from the browns perspective I like the trade, we ain't beating the colts if they have a top 5 qb.

Wentz aside from one season hasn't been top 20.

Throwing short passes is what held them back. It’s the same thing that killed Pittsburgh when we smacked them.

Would you like a quick passing attack? Yes, but that can’t be your only trick or this happens:

What we want is for him to be above average to good. If he is top 8 or so the colts will be the best team in the nfl.

lets not act like the colts had this horrible offense last year. Yes Rivers wasnt that great but the colts offense wasnt that bad. They had a top tier rushing attack and were 11th in the league in passing yards while being 20th in attempts. Colts still didnt have a very good passing defense. Colts still need to do better at defending the pass, Reich has to show more as a coach, and they need a truly reliable QB, oh year, and some improvements on the OL to be considred the best team in the NFL. Only thing elite about the Colts this past year was their defensive front 7. They have 5 defenders who played 50% of the snaps last years as UFA. Will they all resign or go else where for bigger money.
