I might lean that way as well, but only if we can snag Clowney in free agency or trade for another DE.

Farley is unbelievable and I know his injury is scary, but at pick 26, it would be thievery.

Yeah, it would be totally on the medicals for me. If the team doctors are comfortable with Farley, then it's him. Otherwise I am happy with Rousseau.

Without the benefit of hindsight, I bet Trubisky goes over Fields if they were in the same draft.

LOL, no way.

I like Fields. But he’s considerably behind Lawrence.

This is absolutely true

Trubisky was amazing in his 1 season at UNC. I think people forget just how good he was as a prospect because he’s sucked since the draft. He had the size, speed, arm, and accuracy. He won big games and made quick decisions with the ball. Didn’t turn it over. Elevated the talent around him. Trubisky didn’t have a lot of tape to comb through, but all of his tape was excellent. He legitimately didn’t have a terrible game in college.

I think it’d be close if Fields and Trubs were in the same class, but Trubs had much better and consistent tape, in a smaller sample size.

Pete Werner in round 3.

Ventell Miller in round 4.

Browning's measureables alone mean he won't last to Round 3.

I'd be shocked if he was drafted in the 2nd round. He's crazy raw and his tape suggests he should be drafted in the 4th-5th.

I'm gonna get crapped on by OSU people, but I don't see it with Browning. I see it more with Werner, who conversely, has elite tape.

If I'm only going for your options, I love Zaven Collins, but think we have way bigger holes at DE (as an every down kinda guy) and CB (on the outside) that need to be filled in rounds 1 and 2.

I also like Pete Werner in Round 3 because of his coverage skills.

Don't know where you have Jabril Cox or Chazz Surratt going but I like them a lot in Round 3 too. Really I think any pick spent before round 3 on a LB only happens because our initial targets are gone.

I was just adding to it bro, wasn't saying you were defending him. I just hate that he/Lawrence/Jones all get benefit of the doubt with almost no criticism.

Yeah but they all “look the part” amirite?!

I get your frustration though, another year, same tired tropes.

He's the LB equivalent to Oweh, therefore he will go before the 3rd.

Not really. I've been well documented with my Baron Browning evaluations over the last 2 years. :)

Especially for our scheme and what we do to answer your question. He's going to be a very good SAM LB for a while in this league. His pass coverage analytics are through the roof.
