College Football and Draft Discussion 2024

Picking this late in the draft is so much more fun than being in it earlier. There are so many different dominoes that can fall different ways. As much as I’m sure we’ll go DE or CB in round 1, all it takes is a run at either of those positions or a falling top talent to pivot to BPA. I’m very excited to see how things shake up.

Agreed.  I’d love to find out what picking 32 would be like tho.

hes absolutely done

we won’t know until we start playing

so corner honestly could be our number 1 need right now. Or it could be 5th. We’re in such a subjective position.

you always want as many corners as you can get, but going corner in the first vs the 4th round is a big deal.

Not knowing how much we can count on Greedy is frustrating

I don't think our doctors would have declared him able to play nor would Berry would have been so confident when talking about him a few months ago if he was done. But what do Browns fans do? Freak out about things, then the scenario ends up being better than expected (i.e. preseason expectations of the Browns season with 6-10, 7-9 predictions)

Has anyone thought about what is Greedy becomes a #1 corner caliber player? or an AJ Bouye to Jalen Ramsey (A really good #2 who would be a #1 on any other team)

Its ok to let your mind wonder, there is still a possibility that he could still be good.

Clowney could play until he’s 34, I don’t think he will due to injuries though.

Barmore is a guy I still want if possible.

Its just something that doesn't feel right about Barmore, I'd rather have:

2nd -Daviyon Nixon/ Levi Onwuzurike/Alim Mitchell

3rd - Jay Tufele/Jaylen Twyman/Marvin Wilson

4th - Milton Williams/ Tommy Togiai/ Marlon Tuipulotu

Togai in the 4th would be absurd value.  Sign me up.

But yeah, day 2/3 for DT imo.

Guys I like R3-R5:

*Tylan Wallace, WR OK State (R4)

Chubba Hubbard, RB OK State (R4-R5)

Jacob Harris, WR UCF (R5, 6'5 and 220, sub 4.4 speed and 97th percentile for broad jump)

The Ohio State Chapter:

*Togai, DT OSU (R3)

*Pete Werner, SLB OSU (R3, may not make it that far)

*Josh Myers, C/OG, OSU (R3, Perfect ZBS Fit)

*Shaun Wade, Slot/FS, OSU (R3 or later, preferably R4)

*Trey Sermon, RB, OSU (R4)

You're gonna find out pretty soon what that's like.

Trading down huh?

I like it.

You can't do the setup and punchline. That isn't how a comedy works. Well, for standup it is but not here.

Not totally blaming you, it's Tay Tay's fault but you sure jumped at the chance smh.

If I had to guess who will be our 1st round pick it would be Azeez Ojulari or one of the top CB prospects if one falls or we trade up. I could see them bringing in Ojulari with the idea that we could develop him without thrusting him into a full-time starting role as a rookie. I could see him eventually being our starting RE and Garrett moving to LE.
