As far as mid round value meets need goes, I like Captain Jack Campbell and Noah Sewell.

Campbell will be gone. Good player, but a little overvalued IMO. Sewell should be there. I love him and value what he brings as a linebacker—not sure the NFL or Jim Schwartz will. Sewell would be great for what we have, but I have a feeling we would rather bring in a fluid moving LB than a crushing one unfortunately.

I also like Zach Harrison and any one of about 6 TEs in this class.

Harrison would be great if he’s still around. Doubt we get another TE until late with three capable ones right now. Not opposed to one at all—I just would rather bolster the defense before getting a #4 TE.

I wouldn’t mind a later round flier at RB either.

I wouldn’t be opposed to taking a RB in R3 even, if a stud slides. The guy I’m thinking would be an amazing fit with our scheme and current RB room is Israel Abanikanda. I also absolutely adore Roschon Johnson, but he’s less of a scheme fit. I think both of those dudes are future 1,000 yard backs.

We also still need S help. We have Delpit (fa next year) and Thornhill. Aside from them, we have nothing (Bell & Bolden). I would expect us to bring in another S at some point—ideally one with S/CB versatility. Look for Quan Martin from Illinois as an option for us on day 2.

I actually love this class as a whole. Kyu Blu Kelly would be a D3 guy I’d take, as well as Emmanuel Forbes if he falls. I prefer a Safety such as Sidney Brown.

KBK is a monster. I have a 1st round grade on him. Not sure why the NFL scouts aren’t really high on him. His tape is fantastic.

I love Iowa’s scheme so I generally have a soft spot for their defensive Front 7. He’s good in coverage and his size and athleticism is undeniable.

Somehow I think Sewell has become undervalued.

Harrison I’ve seen projected as high as 50 and low as 80. As for the TE portion, I think if we can land a stud, Bryant goes bye bye and we save $2 million.

I like Strong, Abanikanda from Pitt, and Roschon from Texas as well. I personally like the TCU kid more than many too, and a late round flier on the kid from Kentucky would be fine.

I hate this safety class so much but yeah definitely. Ringo has been in free fall mode with his film and subpar combine based upon his athletic hype. I’d take him or Sidney Brown, maybe Battle

Too many of those guys see the “he won’t have catch up speed” on testing and not the lockdown mirroring and bloodlines IMO. The same reason super stud Winfield got drafted behind Delpit.

We’d be morons to not snag a corner out of this class and let them develop as CB 4-5.  It’s an ideal pairing of talent and a proper plan for player development at a key position.

KBK would be great imo

if Brown is there in R3 I’d be stunned.  Really impressive S imo.

Just an incredibly solid safety

I would not be upset at all with Battle. I think Quan Martin is a better scheme fit though. Same with Jammie Robinson. S is still an underrated need on this team, especially looking into the future with Delpit’s FA pending.

Is Jamie Collins a good comp for Trenton Simpson?

No. Collins was so much more physical. Collins would get in trouble because he would guess plays and do his own thing from a run fit perspective. Simpson struggles to quickly diagnose, but also has a tendency to turn away from blockers. Soft.
