RaidersAreOne
No franchise tag situation in Minnesota: Pro Bowl RB Dalvin Cook and the #Vikings have agreed to a 5yr, $63M extension, sources tell @RapSheet and me. After just 29 career games, Cook locks in over $28M guaranteed.
ttitansfan4life
Henry is so underpaid(7th highest paid RB lol) and I love it. Good for Cook and the Vikings. RBs are people too!!! RamblinMan99
That's a lot of money for a RB.

TENINCH
13 million is a a little more than he is worth. Just hope we can still resign Yannick. Guarantees that Rudolph, Harris, and Reiff are gone after this season.
TitanSlim
I’m not anti paying RBs but my issue is giving them extensions past 4 years. That’s my issue with this and the Kamara deals. I’m sure there’s an out in there somewhere but I’m still not a fan. candyman93
This will make signing Nick a Chubb easier. He *might* get 13 mil a year.

Duluther
I'm happy for Cook and our staff wants to focus on him and the ground game. It makes sense. But lord knows this not what I would have done.
Kparty15
Thank goodness he didn’t wait any longer to sign an extension. This deal is way better than the massively overpaid contract that Kamara just signed!
ILoveTheVikings
I like it. Fairly good balance between the elite production he brings vs. the injury risk.

ronjon1990
I know Dalvin Cook has been great when he plays. But a guy with 28 starts and 29 games actually played in a possible 48 regular season games and only 1 season with more than 1k yds from scrimmage (albeit one heck of a season) just isn't worth that to me. He's had 1 productive season. Rarely do we see big money deals with huge guarantees get results on the field. Bold move by the Vikings. Hope it pays off for them.
