Mahomes is a full game ahead of him. Idk what watsons numbers will be like without Fuller now but he’s got a chance to win the passing title but he’s gonna need some of these guys to sit week 17. Not a big deal but he seemed to take on the number 1 role this week. The colts were doing a good job of trying to eliminate cooks. Coutee could get to 400 or 500 yards at this rate. I really like the kid. watson is 2nd in passing yards depending on what Brady does. His only path to the league lead seems to be with Mahomes sitting week 17, which they are currently just 1 back of the bye, and 2 ahead of 3rd. So it’s not looking like they would sit him. He currently sits number 2 but he’s 447 yards behind Mahomes. There’s a good chance that Mahomes will sit out week 17, but that is a tall ask for him to make up that many yards in 3 games with the line up we have in the there. his TD numbers have also majorly dropped. He’s not a lock to be the first Texan to hit 30 TDs anymore. He’s sitting at 25 right now so he needs 5 more in 3 games. of course all this is whether or not we play him the remaining games. he needs just 404 yards and 2 TDs to set new career highs. We play two below average pass defenses the next two weeks but he is a ways behind Mahomes. fortunately it’s looking like the chiefs will lock up the 1 seed this week and perhaps Mahomes will rest. so the path is for Watson to our pass Mahomes this week and then hopefully we let him let it fly week 17 against a Titans team that may or may not have stuff locked up. watson trails by 328 yards so it’s not gonna be an easy feat. I am hopeful that he’s gonna be healthy enough to play Sunday. I am also hoping that Mahomes will settle for the 1 seed and his MVP and will rest Sunday. a 4-12 season that sees our pick go to the dolphins is terrible but knowing we got rid of BOB and seeing Watson build his resume make it a little more bearable. watson also needs just 313 yards to set the franchise single season passing record. he’s already a 3 time pro bowler in just 4 seasons.
